The oldest whisky released by The Macallan, this extraordinarily rare single malt whisky celebrates the artisanship that it took to craft it — from 1940 to today.
The Reach, however, goes further than ever before. This is an 81 year old single malt Scotch whisky, drawn from a single sherry-seasoned cask that was laid down in 1940. Yes, you read that correctly. This expression has spent over eight decades maturing at The Macallan’s home in Speyside, allowing its flavour profile ample time (to say the least) to develop. A truly astonishing feat, one that very few distilleries would be able to accomplish. Only 288 decanters have been produced.
